Good morning everyone, hope you are all doing well. Today’s post is on reviewing some current pieces from Chicwish. They have so many wonderful pieces to choose from, here I will be going through a few of my favourites with you all. Also I will be showing you how I went about styling them too!
So first up are knit dresses, they are perfect for autumn winter and here I have gone for three different styles. I shall start with this pretty little black Brooch lace panelled sheer-sleeve knit dress. One that can be worn for work, lunch and meetings. A polished knit dress that has button and lace trimmed at the front. I opted to style mine with black knee high boots, a black bag and my white sunglasses. Now you can add some thick tights depending on how cold it is to complete the look.
Moving onto the ribbed knit a-line midi dress in this cream colour. The dress features crystal button running down the front. Comes in an A-line silhouette and can be easily dressed up or down. My only negative on this dress is that I would have liked it a little more fitted around the waist. Other than that I really can’t fault it anymore, a great dress that can be styled like I have or for the colder climate add some knee high boots and throw on a coat to finish the look.
Next and onto the ivory turtleneck cable knit sweater dress. Again a huge favourite around this time of year and one that can also be styled up or down. Here I opted to go for tan accessories, however you could easily style it with some chunky boots a trench coat and your go-to accessories for an everyday wear. This dress is sure to keep you warm and cozy during the autumn winter months.
Moving onto this trench coat, a staple must-have for anyones closet. This gorgeous black and camel one is just gorgeous and has some weight to it as well. So it will for sure keep you warm on those chiller days. Whether you style up like I have or just throw it over some sweats and trainers for running errands it sure is going to keep you warm. I would have loved the cuff ties to be a little more tighter!
Right and so onto this gorgeous camel self tie blazer. Absolutely loving the self tie as this adds to the blazer and makes it stand out. Another one of my staples as you can style it up or down, which is key. So versatile and here I have gone for a brunch look and styled it with my black leggings, knee high boots and black accessories apart from my sunglasses. But equally the blazer can be styled for an every day look. Add a sweatshirt and some biker shorts and finish off with some trainers and you are good to go!
A poncho is a great alternative to a blazer and one that is Ideal for for those less chiller days or evenings. This reversible one is just perfect. I have gone for the neutral check side instead of the camel side, I would have loved it more if it had a little more structure but I’m being picky here. Also I wish the fluff from the poncho didn’t transfer onto my black turtle neck. Just means I have to carry a lint roller around to get rid of it. When it came to styling it I opted for an all black look underneath. Then added a tan belt to cinch in my waist which ties in beautifully with my bag. Finally finishing off the look with my white framed sunglasses.
So here I have gone for a knit off the shoulder knit top. Again just right for the season I went for a cream coloured one and love an all cream look. This tonal outfit to me looks so put together, elegant and polished. Can be easily worn for a night out as well as during the day!
Next up is this beautiful sheer shirt with these incredible collars. I am a sucker for wide big collars so it’s no surprise that I gravitated towards the shirt as soon as I saw it. Like I mentioned it’s sheer so it might not be to some of your taste, but there is a quick fix just add a slip underneath it and you are all set to go!
Finally onto the last piece of garment that I got which is this horsebit midi skirt in tan. This skirt is ideal for the office or for a daytime look. I got an XS in size and the waist is still a little wide for me, so will need to make a slight alteration. Other than that it is a wonderful skirt and here I opted for a tonal look. I love a fitted roll neck as I tend to find them to make an outfit look more polished in my opinion. If the weather was colder I would throw on a camel coloured coat of some sort to complete my look.
Which of the above pieces do you like? How would you go about styling them? Do let me know by leaving a comment below.
