Good morning everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend! It was a busy one for us, I have been doing a lot of content creation. As hubby takes my pictures he can only do them at the weekend as he is working during the week. So have to be organised with making sure the boys are kept busy as well as sorting out what I need to get done in time. Hence the reason for one less blog post a week!
Right today’s post which is on pleated skirts and three ways to style them. I have gone for a monochromatic look here but there are so many other way’s to style this look. So take a scroll down and do let me know which of the looks you like.

BODY SUITS & PLEATED SKIRT
So the first way I would style a pleated skirt is with a bodysuit like I have done here. One of the easiest way to style I find. To toughen up the look I have styled the outfit with my black biker boots, you could also style this look with a pair of trainers/sneakers. As for my bag I have gone for this oversized number in a plum colour. The all black outfit lets the plum coloured bag stand out! Finishing off my look with a pair of aviator mirrored sunglasses and my black fedora hat to complete.
PLEATED SKIRT WITH A BLAZER & SHOULDER PADDED TEE
For a more polished look why not team the pleated skirt with a blazer. Then add a little casual feel with a shoulder padded t-shirt underneath. For a spring time look I have gone for my beloved espadrilles, which work wonderfully with this look. As for the finishing touches I opted for a basket/wicker bag which ties in beautifully with the espadrilles in my opinion. Finally finishing off the outfit with a pair of black sunglasses. Great for a night out and for the daytime wear it without the blazer depending on how cold or warm it is.
WHITE SHIRT, PLEATED SKIRT & JUMPER
My final outfit inspiration is with this gorgeous pink pleated skirt. It’s not too bright and is perfect for spring/summer. Here I decided to style the look with a jumper in the same hue layered with a white shirt underneath. I love to wear pink and white together! So of course when it came to picking the accessories I went for all white ones. First I picked the white ankle boots, these can easily be changed for a pair of white kitten heel sandals instead. Next I chose this white cassette bag and finally finishing off with a pair of white sunglasses. I have to say this is my favourite look, I may end up purchasing all these items!

Love these looks. I think it is time I find a bodysuit for some of my skirts. Hoping we can return to church this coming weekend and I can finally have a reason to dress up again. The espadrilles are calling my name but I also love the edginess of the combat boots with that feminine skirt.
There is just something so chic about a pleated midi skirt. It is timeless and classy. Love that you paired this with boots too. Perfect for that spring transition.

We are the same in that my hubby also takes my photos, also in the weekends so I also always need to be organised. My daughter is already 21 though so I have one less concern there.

Lovely… your name suits you! What style you have! This is my first time here but not my last. Have a wonderful week.
I am a huge fan of midi skirts, and this pleated number is fabulous on you, Lovely! Pleated skirts and bodysuits are meant to go together, but I think your other stying suggestions are gorgeous as well. =)
I hope you are having a great week!
