SELF-PORTRAIT DRESS FOR VALENTINES DAY

Good morning everyone and happy Wednesday! Today’s post is the lead up to Valentines and I wanted to give you a few options. So first up is all about that dreamy lace dress, I have found a few for you take a look at and let me know which one is your favourite. Whatever your plans whether you are able to go out depending where you are in the world or staying in it will work for both.

Since having my boys I don’t really mind if we go out or stay in really, we like to make it a family affair. To be honest I prefer to staying in more than going out, I’m just a home body. But having said that I still like to get dressed up so with that in mind here is my first Valentines day look.

LACE MIDI DRESS

Right let’s begin with this beautiful midi lace dress, the dress is cut from blue floral fine lace. Absolutely adore the cross front body that cinches in at the waist with a black band and falls to a flared midi skirt. Also loving the long sheer sleeves with floral details on them. The dress is just beautiful even if I do say so myself.

When it came to styling the dress I went for a pair of nude sandals. I wanted the elevation here and I think these work really well in my opinion. My sunglasses are vintage and for Valentines day I would leave these out as I would be staying home. However if we were to go for a lunch date then of course I would wear them. Finally completing my look with my Gucci Dionysus bag.

    That blue lace dress is absolutely stunning on you, Lovely! I’ve always adored lace, I think it’s beautiful in just about every colour. We certainly won’t be going out for Valentine’s Day this year. Portugal is still in a full-on lockdown. I can’t wait to be able to go out for dinner again!

    This is a BEAUTIFUL dress on you, Lovely! You’re are the personification of Valentine’s in this. I would personally prefer the midriff cutout lined, and I think I would cover the black waistband with a belt. Beige sandals aren’t my thing, so I would go with a metallic, maybe in a pewter or bronze to pick up the shine in your fabulous purse.

    I think spending time in with your family is a great way to “show the love” for Valentine’s. 🙂

    I have a blue lace gown – maybe I’ll dress up in it for V-Day?? You’ve inspired me!

    Du schaust toll aus. Ich werde leider nichts Besonderes zum Valentinstag tragen können, da ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt meinen rechten Arm nach einer Operation in einer Gipsschiene haben werde.
