Good morning Everyone, hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend. Today’s post is on slip dresses and four ways to style them. Slip dresses are very versatile and can be worn all year round. It’s all about how you style them, so here are four different ways to wear a slip dress, hope they give you some inspiration. Take a scroll down and please do let me know which is your favourite.

SLIP DRESS AND JUMPER

So one way to style a slip dress is to style it with an oversized jumper like I have here. Layer the jumper on top of your slip dress. Great for those mornings when you want to throw something on quickly. Now you can leave it like that or you could cinch in the waist using a belt for a more put together look. Personally I love to do that as it gives me some shape and I can add another colour to the mix at the same time. As for my accessories I opted for my leopard print sock boots, but you could easily wear some trainers instead. Next and onto my bag which is also in the leopard print and ties in beautifully with my shoes. To complete my look I am wearing my vintage pair of yellow tinted sunglasses and my black fedora hat.

BLAZER AND SLIP DRESS

For lunch or for a night out add a blazer to your slip dress for a more polished look. Again you could go for an oversized look or you could cinch in the waist. As for shoes a pair of ankle boots would be great for the day time. For the evening opt for some heels in the form of sandals or court shoes. Finally completing your look with your favourite accessories.

COAT AND SLIP DRESS

Another way to style that slip dress and make the most of it is to pair it with a long coat. Perfect for those autumn winter months. Depending on how cold it is you may have to layer with a roll neck jumper under the slip dress or maybe with a knit jumper. As for the shoes go for some knee high boots for added warmth.

T-SHIRT AND SLIP DRESS

T-shirts and slip dresses are probably the most popular pairing. Go for a white t-shirt and layer it under your slip dress. This look is great for an everyday wear, team it up with a pair of trainers/sneakers for the dressed down approach. Or you could style the outfit with a pair of biker boots to toughen up the look some more. Ideal for running your everyday errands.

All these are such great ideas for styling! Love how you styled your slip dress with the jumper – they make such a good pairing together. Also, I love how you matched the print on the boots with the print on the bag.

You layer your slip dress so well! I really like the leopard print with it too 🙂

Hope that you had a great weekend! Ours was a nice quiet one at home with the 3 day Brisbane lockdown due to there being a case of coronavirus outside hotel quarantine, but lockdown ends tonight as there have been no more cases 🙂
