Ten Sleeveless Jackets To Get Your Hands On

Good morning everyone, hope you all have a wonderful Friday. Today’s post is on ten of my favourite sleeveless jackets to get you hands including the one that I am wearing. I adore wearing an all black outfit, what about you? However, I like to give it a twist now and then and make it stand out a little. A great way to do this is to introduce one other colour to the all black ensemble. In my case I have gone with yellow, here is a little inspiration on styling an all black outfit with a pop of colour by using a sleeveless jacket. What one colour would you add to an all black outfit? Or are you someone who wouldn’t add any colour at all?

TROUSERS

So let’s begin with my trousers, these are from Jacquemus and if you didn’t already know I absolutely adore them. They come in a high waisted style with wide legs, my favourite kind of trousers next to flared ones! Now you could easily style the sleeveless yellow jacket with some skinny jeans too. This would work equally well paired with some knee high boots.

TOP

I personally find that a roll neck jumper makes an outfit look really chic. So here I opted to pair this basic one from Zara with my trousers. It is very light weight and when layering sometime the bulky jumpers and tops don’t work so well I find. If you want you could wear a black shirt alternatively.

SLEEVELESS JACKET

Now on to the item of clothing that is going to make this outfit pop. Yes you would have seen this sleeveless jacket before it’s from a label called Aissata Ibrahima. Comes with shoulder pads to give it that extra drama and structure, the style and tailoring is just absolutely gorgeous. The white on the lapel just adds to the overall look and gives the jacket that added uniqueness. If I wanted to go one step further I could have added a wide black belt to cinch in my waist.

ACCESSORIES

For my accessories I decided to wear my white Illesteva cat-eye sunglasses. This ties in with the white lapel wonderfully. As for my bag I opted for my black mini Jacquemus bag. I know this bag is not that practical but it’s so cute that I find myself being drawn to it. Finally I wore a red lip to give the outfit another pop of colour, I find for me a red lip works so well with yellow. The shade that I am wearing is Feels So Grand from the MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour.

Which of the sleeveless jackets do you prefer? How would you style an all black outfit to give it that pop? Do let me know by leaving a comment below.

This is a really cute look, but I think I would drown in all that volume! I love the long length of this – I have a long denim version that I like to layer over pants (skirts too!). I love MAC make-up – all my make-up is by them, including all my brushes. It was worth the splurge! They’re Canadian, like me. 🙂
