Good morning everyone, today’s ensemble is all about the leopard print. This super versatile print is already hailed as a classic and is one of the top prints to wear. Despite being a common print, leopard prints popularity began with Christian Dior and his muse inspiration Mtzah Bricard. The print become popular during the 50’s and now a days it is the must-have print of the moment. So with that being the case I have put together this look and have gone for a leopard on leopard outfit.
LEOPARD PRINT DRESS
Right lets get started onto my ensemble at hand and to this leopard print maxi dress which is from H&M. What Initially drew me to the dress was of course the print but more so the style of the dress. Love the sleeves as well as the ruffle detailings. My look here is a more fashion forward one but I could have easily styled the dress down, by pairing it with some sneakers/trainers. This would work for an everyday casual look, my dress sold out very quickly, however there are so many maxi leopard print dresses you can get your hands. Just have to find the right one for you and go from there!
LEOPARD PRINT BOOTS
Next and onto my footwear of choice, here I have opted to style my H&M Leopard print dress with my high heeled leopard print boots from Public Desire. This is where the leopard on leopard comes in full effect! The boots are in the sock style with the pointed toe, very similar to the Balenciaga knife boots. I absolutely adore them as they give me the elevation I am looking for. Also they make my legs appear to be that much longer too! The leopard print on the boots work rather beautifully in my opinion with the dress as they are very similar in print.
CULT GAIA BAG
Moving on and I grabbed my precious Cult Gaia Cupola bag, it’s that time of year when the basket bags start to come out. This bag screams Summer to me, although saying that I have been carrying all year round. Why limit a bag to a season I say when you can make the most of it all the time. Well that how I feel about my bags anyway. Cult Gaia do some unique and wonderful bags at a price that won’t break your bank. This seasons collection is no exception as they have some amazing cute little bags that I would like to get my hands on. What I love about my Cupola bag is that it is roomy enough for all my essentials.
My wide brim hat with the contrast black ribbon is from Mango. The hat just amps up the statement of the attire even more. Also perfect for keeping the sun at bay too.
Now I wanted to accentuate my figure and therefore decided to cinch in my waist with this wide Zara belt. You would have seen me wearing this belt in my last two post if you missed them then take a look HERE and HERE.
My white sunglasses are Vintage and come in this Oval shape. Again adding to the overall look and giving the ensemble that extra edge that I am going for. Finishing off the look I am wearing my M.A.C, Retro Matte liquid lipstick In the shade Topped With Brandy. Such a pretty and gorgeous nude colour I just can’t seem to get enough of it. For me it is the right shade of nude for my skin tone. However it can differ from person to person, I have heard from others that it can look much more of a deep brown colour. So make sure to test it out on your lips before purchasing. Here I am wearing it with a little bit of Chanel Coco Rouge in the shade Adrienne just at the centre. This just gives the lips a much more of a fuller look.
