Good morning everyone, I can’t believe we are already into the second week of 2020. Hope you are all very well and back to your usual routine. Today’s post is based around 5 great destinations in Sydney which are ideal for a proposal.

If you are soon to be popping the question to your partner, this is a wonderful opportunity to create a memory that will be cherished forever by both of you. Nowadays the location where you plan to propose is an essential component of the entire experience. Of course, if you want your proposal to be remembered, you ideally want a suitable location, and with that in mind, here are a few great proposal locations to consider.
1.Bondi Beach At Sunrise
The ideal location for hopeless romantics, Bondi Beach is special for many reasons, and the sunrises really are something else along this idyllic stretch of coastline. After a long walk down the beach, you can wait for the perfect moment as the sun begins to rise over the horizon, then spend a couple of hours at one of the beachside restaurants for a champagne breakfast to celebrate your union.
2.Sydney Harbour Bridge
The most iconic location in Sydney, the Harbour Bridge is probably the most popular proposal spot of all, and with the perfect ring from a diamond jewellery store, you can get down on one knee in real style. Failing that, you could always book a dinner cruise in Sydney Harbour. With a bottle of champagne on ice and your favourite music, popping the question couldn’t happen in a better place.
3.Mrs Macquarie’s Point
Sunset is the perfect time to pull out that gorgeous diamond engagement ring and pop that magical question, as this is one of the most romantic gardens in Sydney, plus it is open 24 hours a day. You can check online for sunset times, and maybe hide a picnic hamper behind some bushes, ready for that celebration picnic under the stars.
4.Manly Walk
This idyllic 10km stretch is perfect for a marriage proposal, with so many great views along the walk. If you do a dry run on your own, you can decide where to pop the question in advance and maybe have a picnic hamper hidden nearby, or perhaps visit one of the nice eateries that can be found along this magical route.
5.Observatory Hill
For the most stunning backdrop, Observatory Hill really does take some beating, and you can pack a small picnic hamper, which should not raise any suspicions, as this is a very popular picnic spot for Australians. The Rotunda is the ideal location to get the ring out and ask that magical question, and scoping out the area on a dry run is always recommended, as that way, you will be sure of your plan.

Like any other special event, a little planning and preparation is always advised, and you might want to enlist the help of a special friend, who could arrive at the right moment with the picnic hamper. Choose your day carefully, and if all goes to plan, this will be a magical surprise that she will never forget, and you can always return to that same spot on anniversaries, which will have a very special meaning for the both of you.
