Good morning everyone, today’s attire is all about white denim dresses for summer. Now you might think who who would want to wear denim in this hot weather, well before you are quick to dismiss it. Let me tell you it’s all about finding that right dress that works in the summer as well as the cooler months.
White as you know is great for hot sunny weather specially here in Dubai. But during the months of July, August, September your not going to be spending your days outside that much regardless of what you are wearing over here. So that’s why this dress is ideal as majority of the time I will be spending my time inside with air conditioned places.
/ DRESS / ESPADRILLES / HAT / BAG /
WHITE DENIM DRESS
So lets begin with this white denim dress from Nasty Gal. A beautiful dress that fits perfectly and looks amazing on, the dress features a square neckline with a slit on the side. It comes in a midi silhouette, a zip closure and criss cross detailing that ties at the back. Not forgetting the belt which come in a square style and adds to this overall beautiful dress.
The ideal dress to go out in, whether it’s for a day of shopping in the Mall like I did or for a night out. Its is also a perfect transitional piece for Autumn. Just add a black polo neck jumper underneath and some ankle boots (maybe cowboy boots to switch it up) and throw ( I mean drape) on an oversized blazer and your good to go!
ESPADRILLES
Moving onto to my shoes and I have opted to style my white denim dress with my ivory Espadrilles from Castaner at Net-A-Porter. For they are the ideal pair of wedges to walk around in, especially for shopping days! They also give me that elevation I love without them being too high. I adore lace-ups and these satisfy my desire and work wonderfully with the dress.
FEDEORA HAT
Next and here I am wearing my black Whistles fedora hat. Its great for keeping the sun at bay and shielding my forehead from that intense heat. That tends to be the part of my face that seems to get the most sun exposure. It also adds to the overall look and makes the whole look come together.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Finally for the finishing touches I am wearing on my lips the shade Teddy Bear from Lime Crime Velvetines. On my finger I am wearing my cylinder gold ring from AUrate New York. Completing my outfit I am carrying my Gucci Dionysus bag. I mean what more can I say about this bag other than that it is so versatile and can be worn with most outfits. Decorated with the signature burnished tiger head buckle, this miniature version opens to a suede-lined interior that’s ideally sized for my lipstick, wallet and iPhone. So there you have it a white denim dress for summer!
