Good morning everyone, today’s ensemble is based around this Contrast Stitch Blazer from Karen Millen. So here is another blazer that I have added to my collection. As always Karen Millen nail outerwear season after season. The silhouette, the material and the contrast stitching makes this blazer a must-have, specially at this time of the season. Like most of you a blazer and a pair of jeans are a perfect combo for me. Also the blazer is a versatile piece of garment that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
For me I find that the blazer completes and finishes off an outfit, so it is vital to get this locked from the start. Wearing a double breasted blazer really does add an air of sophistication to my final look. The contrast stitching just adds another dimension to the blazer. If you are someone who doesn’t tend to wear blazers and are considering purchasing one, by all means start off with something which is affordable. See how you feel, does it suit you? Did you wear it enough? Test it out before splurging out, best places to do that is at H&M and Zara, they do some gorgeous on trend blazers.
Now you all know by know how much I adore a shirt with statement sleeves. So when it came to purchasing this one from Pretty Little Thing, the sleeves are what sealed the deal for me. The sleeves comes in this extra long exaggerated cuffs that sneak out of my blazer. Unfortunately it is sold out but there a plenty more similar shirts at Pretty Little Thing to get your hand on, should you choose to do so! White shirts for me during Spring/Summer is one of my most worn items. So I am always on the look out for a few new ones to add to my wardrobe.
Flares for is my most worn pair of denim, and it can’t just be any type of flare, it has to be just the right length, fit and wash. This pair is from Frame and are a few years old, I bought them when Frame only had a handful of denim items on Net-A-Porter. They are in the high waisted style and skim the floor in length, just the way I like my flares to do so. They fit so well and are extremely comfortable as they have some stretch to them.
This little hottie is from Agnes Nordenholz and is called The Baguette. I came across it by chance on Instagram and instantly loved the design, Agnes was very kind to offer me the bag as a gift. Of course I was not going to turn it down as I absolutely adored it. The intention of AGNES NORDENHOLZ is to produce soulful products, that last for a long time, combining high craftsmanship with intriguing design. Products you will love and therefore keep for a long time. Take a look HERE at some of her collection.
My go to footwear for the Spring/Summer months has to be my Castaner Wedges. I came across them years ago on Kurt Geiger and have never looked back. I think it was the lace-ups that did it for me. So glad I found them as they are my favourite footwear to wear around this time of year. Whether I wear them with dresses, shorts or denim they never fail to complete my overall look.
