Good morning everyone, today’s attire is based around the colour green. Now green is the hottest colour for this season and it come in so many different shades. Therefore you are sure to find something that will suit you, whether it’s Khaki, Pistachio green, Sage or Olive. I mean I could go on and on, but you get the point. So with that in mind I opted to style my outfit in Khaki.
Lets begin with my jumper and this Khaki merino wool cashmere jumper which comes with a snood from ME+EM. Perfect for keeping that neck area warm specially now that the temperature has taken a dive. The snood is detachable and can be folded like I have done so that the stripes are visible. The jumper comes in a rib detailing at the neck, shoulders, cuffs and on the hem. Ideal for the office as it can be styled with a tailored skirt or you could style it down with some denim for a more casual look. Also the jumper feels extremely soft and cozy on, I mean what’s not to love about it!
So I decided to style the snood jumper with these Grosgrain Man Pants which are also from ME+EM. It’s obvious by now about how much I am loving this brand. When it comes to trousers I think they do them so well. This is my third pair of trousers from them and I am not disappointed to say the least. This pair is in the colour Khaki with burnt orange stripes at the side seams. I wanted to keep the look monochrome, hence the reason I choose this pair! It comes in a crease free stretch tailoring and is military inspired. Wear it with a crisp white shirt for the office or wear it like I have done for a more everyday wear.
Next and after much deliberations, I always seem to spend most of my time trying to decide on which pair of shoes I should style with my outfits. Anyone else also have this dilemma or is it just me! Anyway I opted for these burnt orange pair from Dune London. These beautifully tie in with the colour of stripes at the side seams of the trousers. The court style shoes come with laces, yep another lace-up shoe I could not resist from purchasing. I am so glad that I did as they are just gorgeous and the criss cross ghillie lace-up makes them look super sexy once you have them on. The court shoes feature a round toe, metal tips on the ghillie lacings, and a slim high heel. Of course you can’t see the details so much here.
Moving onto my clutch and keeping in theme with the Khaki colour, I styled the outfit with this Modalu England number. Say hello to Erin, yes thats the name of the bag and no I didn’t give it that name if your wondering. Erin’s envelope silhouette makes it a covetable clutch to fit all your essentials. Get ready to draw attention with this statement accessory which has premium features in a blend of contrast prints, textured leather and a polished profile zip.
Now you all know that my attire is not complete unless I am wearing a pair of sunglasses. This pair of sunglasses is from Carrera and is in the aviator style. I have had them for a number of years now and still adore them. A bold pair of sunglasses that are super stylish in my opinion. They feature this thin red line across the top and on the arms making it tie in with my shoes!
As for the finishing touches on my lips I am wearing the shade Teddy Bear from Lime Crime Velvetines. On my nails I opted to wear a white nail polish from NARS in the shade Ecume. Finally finishing off with my AUrate New York gold cylinder ring and my hair pulled back in a low ponytail.
Thank you so much for stopping by to read my fashion blog. What do you make of the colour green? Are you someone who would wear garments in this colour? Please do let me know by leaving a comment below.
