There is something about Camel clothes that makes everything look more expensive. Of course, most of the time it is how you wear it. For instance you can drape a beige coat over your shoulders like I have done. Or how about pairing a black roll-neck with a brown skirt. There are a number of ways to wear this neutral that will give your outfit that added lift it needs to look chic.
If you don’t prefer the Camel colour in a darker shade, not to worry as there are plenty of different shades and tones to love. I personally adore mixing white and camel together as I find both of them work really well together specially with my skin tone.
In the world of mum, I have been super productive working on few things which I cannot wait to share with you all. The boys have all learned what plays they will be performing in for their end of term concert. Eli’s year are going to be performing Joseph And The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. The War Of The Roses is going to be performed by Wyatt’s year. Finally Zeke and his year are going to perform their version of Goldilocks And The Three Bears. From what I have heard from him it is a very different take on the classic and one that I am very much looking forward to watching come end of March.
Now onto my ensemble, I wanted to create a look with white and Camel. Therefore I started off by wearing my Guess flared jeans, I have mentioned before how much I love flares and therefore had to incorporate them in this look. I had to let out the hems at the bottoms as I like them to be long enough so they cover my shoes leaving a tiny hint of them for you to see. They are a well fitted pair of flared jeans that kick out below the knee.
To give the look a slight casual feel I wore this basic Tee from Zara. The tone of the white matches the jeans perfectly. I have tucked it in to show off my waist and have added my tan coloured D&G belt to break up the white a little. This is a vintage belt and I just adore the width of it.
Next I opted for my little brown fur friend, my bag which is an old Karen Millen bag. I wanted to mix up the tones a little and this worked rather well with the overall look. Such a cute and handy bag with enough room and a magnetic closure in the middle.
Taking the colour cue from my bag I decided I would go for this brown baker boy hat. This hat is from Accessorize and I love the button detailing on the side of the hat. Keeping me warm an not taking away from the overall look I had envisaged. As for my shoes I am currently wearing these nude platforms on repeat. I bought them from Carvela at Kurt Geiger a few years ago. I can’t get over how gorgeous they are and how well they work with my flares.
Then I threw on my Karen Millen Camel coat, this is your classic Camel coat which in my opinion is a must have in ones wardrobe. A piece that can be worn time after time and is very evident in my posts. On top of that it is a beautiful coat that will keep you warm and snuggly. Yet another item from Karen Millen which has been tailored to near perfection. I cannot express how well this fits. Made from premium Italian fabric, which is evident as to how soft it feels.
On to my Jord Wood Watch, this is such an unique and pretty watch and I adore how it ties in with my look. I have the Reece Walnut and Navy piece. The rectangular face is what drew me to the watch in the first place. Finally I wore my white oval sunglasses from River Island. These are just fabulous in my opinion and the white just balances the whole ensemble and completes my look.
I kept my make neutral and wore my nude Chanel Coco Rouge lipstick in the shade Adrienne. Loving this lipstick which is gorgeous and hydrating at the same time, specially for this time of year when my lips tend to get dry. Not a very nice look so this certainly helps keep them moisturised. My nails are in the shade OPI Red from OPI. To be honest not intended for this look but I couldn’t be bothered to remove it. Sometimes that’s just how it is!!
