I love a good oversized shirt specially with a pair of high waisted denim shorts. This one I am wearing is from Zara and has a lapel collar and long sleeves with wide cuffs. The shirt features floral embroidery on the shoulders and back. Comes in an A-line silhouette with asymmetric hemline and button-up fastening in the front. It is long enough at the back to cover your bum if you didn’t feel like showing it off. Also it is slightly shorter at the front, so you could leave it out or tuck it in, like I have here to show off your figure. The embroidery trend doesn’t look like it’s going to go away anytime soon. You don’t have to take my word for it just look around the stores!
There are plenty of garments in store and online that you could get your hands on. Ranging from tops to jeans to even shoes, so why not have a look and see what takes your fancy. Even if you just start off with one item and see whether or not it is for you.
This oversized shirt is really pretty and very easy to style. Here I have teamed it with these gorgeous high waisted shorts which also happen to be from Zara. I adore the ripped and frayed details on them. They fit so well and are very flattering. On this occasion I very much love the way the shirt and the shorts go so well together. Making the ensemble look less casual and more polished. Although a pair of tailored shorts would work wonderfully with this oversized shirt. I was going for a semi casual look here and therefore opted not to wear a pair of tailored shorts in this instance.
As for the shoes I went for these Karen Millen sandals with straps and diamante details on the buckle. These give the ensemble that going out look and make it look less casual. If unlike me you did not want to wear a pair of heels you could style this with some loafers or trainers/sneakers and go for a casual vibe. I love the cross cross detailing of the sandals and also how it accents the red floral embroidery on the oversized shirt. To keep in with the red I went for a red lip too, to tie in the look!
My clutch is another Karen Millen purchase. This is so handy and comes in a patent quilted style with a zip fastening. It is large enough to fit all your essentials as well as an iPhone 7 too. A cute little clutch that is so versatile and goes with many outfits.
Finally to complete my look I went for these vintage Gucci sunglasses. I have had these for a very long time and bought them on my first trip to the U.S. I went to visit my friend who was living in Washington at the time. So on my day out shopping with her we went to Nordstrom and I ended up purchasing these. They are your small framed sunglasses and come in these small frames. I have seen small framed sunglasses on many street style fashionista’s. Either in the cat-eye or the round framed style.
Thank you for reading my fashion post. Please do let me know how you are styling your oversized shirts. I would love to hear from you, leave a comment below.

I adore the floral design on the shirt. You styled it so well with the denim shorts. I would also pair this shirt with a blue or white pair of jeans or maybe a skirt. You look fabulous as always.
