How to Style Bardot Tops

I was off to to visit my sister in Greenwich with the boys as they were on half term. It was a scorcher of a day to say the least. I’m not complaining as living in West London it is a rarity to get some sunshine. I decided to wear my Zara white Bardot top with a strapless bra underneath.

One of the top trends of the season, the Bardot style is incredibly easy to wear, giving your Summer outfit a boho look, while keeping a sophisticated silhouette to show off your figure. I am a huge fan of this style as it can be flattering, it shows off your décolletage but at the same time covers the tops of your arms if you do not like showing them off. In a variety of colours and patterns, this style can be found in high end stores as well as being all over the high street. From tops, dresses and jumpsuits your sure to find something that suits your style and taste. I have styled mine with some ripped jeans from the denim brand, Paige at Revolve. The jeans are very comfortable and light and soft to touch, this combination works very well in my opinion.

Here are a few other ways to style a Bardot top:

How about wearing your Bardot top with some denim shorts. There are plenty of options out there so take a look and see which style fits and suits you. Team them up with some Gladiator sandals or some loafers to keep it casual. Add a fedora hat to keep the casual look going. My personal favourite! Find Denim shorts (here), Gladiator sandals (here), Loafers (here) and a fedora hat (here).

Why not go for a wide pair of trousers with a Bardot top with some flat sandals for the day and for a more elegant look vamp it up with some heels for the evening. Wide trousers can be found (here), Bardot tops (here) and (here).

Bardot crochet top always looks so feminine, so style it with some distressed jeans, heels and a clutch bag to finish the look. Crochet Bardot top from (here), distressed jeans (here) and a clutch bag (here).

For an evening out why not go for an elegant look by teaming your Bardot top with a high waisted pencil skirt with some heels. It also works well with some high waisted shorts too. Bardot top (here), high waisted pencil skirt (here), and heels (here).

I have worn my Dune ankle boots, these are very comfortable for me and as we were going to be doing some walking it was ideal. Finally my trusted Le Specs cat-eye sunglasses in Rapture to finish the ensemble.

What are your favourite ways to style a Bardot top?
