Good morning everyone and happy Saturday. Today’s post is on styling a turtle/roll neck top. Personally I can’t get enough of them and find them to be the ideal piece of garment for layering during autumn and winter. I’m talking about the form fitting ones as opposed to your loose fitting. But if you prefer the loose ones of course by all means go for them.

For me the turtleneck top is an essential winter basic when I was living in London. I may not wear them over here in Dubai as much as I would have done in London. However, that still doesn’t stop me from gravitating towards them. A turtleneck in my opinion is just as important as a plain white tee. I tend to find them to be chic as well as very functional at the same time, whether I wear them on their own or layered.
TURTLE NECK
Right this turtleneck top is from Ganni and I am totally obsessed with it. I have been styling it in so many different ways, that’s what you want right! So when it came to styling the top one way I opted to team it up with is with my black faux leather skirt. The pencil skirt and the turtleneck skirt work so well together and make the outfit look so polished. As for my accessories, first I went for me leopard print boots just to add some more leopard into the mix. Next and I chose my black Teddy Blake bag and finished off the outfit with my black Dior sunglasses. Take a look below at a few of my turtleneck selections. I love a turtleneck but haven’t been able to wear them for years due to menopausal hot flushes. Now that the dust seems to have settled, I can’t wait to wear them again this Winter!

I have ALWAYS been a huge fab of turtle necks. They’re super practical, keep you warm and always look stylish. I have quite a few in my wardrobe but my favourite is always a plain black one. However, after seeing yours, I think I might have to change my mind. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS!!! My problem at the moment, is that I keep getting hot flushes, so I doubt I’ll be able to wear them much this year. But I will try!

I love turtlenecks, cowl necks and mock turtlenecks. Have had 3 surgeries on my neck and I am less than proud of the way my skin drapes around the 3 inch scar. Turtlenecks can be my best friend when trying to hide or camouflage the scar.
I like the mix of leopard or animal print. The large with the small. And the simplicity of the bag you chose. It lets the other pieces do all the talking. Great pencil skirt. Pinned this look and the darling olive drab skirt you featured below your post. Wish I could afford it. Those pockets. That color.
