HOW TO STYLE THE ZEBRA PRINT

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today’s post is on styling the zebra print and how you can incorporate it in to your outfit. The zebra print is my second favourite animal print after the leopard print. What’s your favourite print?

I have a few piece in the zebra print and during the summer months I find myself gravitating towards the print a lot more. A great way to incorporate the print is with accessories, I know I have said this many a time but it really is in my opinion. Whether it’s bags, shoes, scarves or swimsuits they are one way to start if you are not that big on prints in general.

ZEBRA PRINT BAGS

Like I mentioned earlier bags are one way to incorporate the zebra print. So I have done just that here and styled my gorgeous zebra print bag from Fairfax & Favour with this monochromatic look. This is the Mini Windsor bag and features a cute removable mini tassel in addition to a detachable leather shoulder strap. The bag is handmade and the variation of the stripes differ from bag to bag. So you get a unique bag each time!

My trousers are nearly ten years old and I absolutely adore them and have taken good care of them hence the reason they have lasted this long. What attracted me to the trousers are the black stripes running down the side and on the waist band. Next I chose a simple high neck sleeveless top, this one is from Mango and a few years old also. I then threw on my Odd Molly cardigan which gives me Chanel vibes and ties in beautifully with my outfit. As for my shoes I opted for these sustainable Ebony loafers from Vivaia. Then to complete my look I grabbed my oversized white framed Dior sunglasses.

SHOES IN ZEBRA PRINT

Moving on and onto shoes, again a great way to add prints or colours in to your closet. My loafers is one example you could go for. The print here is bigger or you could go for the smaller print which ever you prefer. They can be styled with an all white outfit or alternatively an all black one. Maybe you might want to take the monochromatic look like I have!

SWIMSUITS IN THE ZEBRA PRINT

My third option of including the zebra print is to opt for a swimsuit in the print. The print will look beautiful on a tanned skin and again an ideal way to experiment with patterns.

I don’t own any pieces in zebras yet but I would love a pair of pants in zebra.

Your outfit is funky yet stylish, and I’m loving the subtle use of zebra print with the bag. While I haven’t got a bag, I do have a zebra print belt, which I almost forgot about, but am now planning to wear soon. Thank you for the reminder, Lovely 🙂 xxx

Leopard is my favourite animal print, but zebra is up there. I also love geometric prints (like polka dots, grids and stripes) as well as plaids and tartans.

Lovely, this is a fantastic outfit – your black and white mixing is superb here, and sets off the zebra purse so nicely. I have had a few pieces of Odd Molly over the years – great quality clothing.

I love your outfit! I don’t think I own any zebra but it’s such a great print for people who don’t like print with it being black and white and easy to style. Bags are such a great way of subtly introducing print too x
