How To Style Suits For Spring Summer

Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday, today’s post is on styling suits for Spring Summer. I am a huge fan of the short suit, but do love a trouser suit as well. So with this in mind I wanted to share with you all how I tend to style my suits for Spring Summer.

There are so many variations of co-ords out there in so many different colours too! I have curated a few for you below, so let me know which one you like.

 

/ BLAZER / TROUSERS / BAG / SUNGLASSES Similar /

Right let me begin with this blazer and trouser combo from Zara. I was immediately drawn to it as I had seen a very similar one last year by Anine Bing. Unfortunately I couldn’t purchase it at the time as they had sold out of my size. So as soon as I saw this duo I did not hesitate. The blazer is slightly oversized but fits and looks great, as the for the trousers they are the perfect length for me. However, the waist is a tad bit loose, I would personally love it if it was a little more fitted. My size is a xs for reference purposes, I am thinking of getting it altered, but still love the trousers too!

Now when it came to styling the duo it was very easy, I just opted to wear my Burberry bikini top underneath. You could style them with a bodysuit or a blouse either would work equally well. Next I chose to wear my nude sandals but alternatively a pair of wedges would also work perfectly. My bag of choice is my mini black bag from Jacquemus and to complete my look I grabbed my white cat-eye sunglasses from Illesteva.

SUITS

Here are few of my favourite selections of suits, some are in the linen blend material which is ideal for Spring Summer. I have also selected a skirt suit and a short suit just to give some variety. I would love to get my hands on those high waisted trousers from Jacquemus. Watch this space and see if I can get a hold of one in my size!

    I’ve got a very similar suit too!
    It’s from Moschino and I’ve wore it for my college degree many years ago: it’s incredible how similar to your is, after all these years!!!
    Anyway it looks super cool and fits you like a glove!

    I adore suits, ever since I got my first skirt-suit in 1984! This looks awesome on you, Lovely – I love the strong shoulder and the long trousers. Your action shot tossing your bag up with your hand in your pocket made me smile!

    This suit is fantastic! I would totally wear it! Love the fit, style and color! That bag is potentially the tiniest bag I’ve ever seen! That would be a no go for me…I carry way too much stuff! LOL!

    Maybe the first fashion blog I came upon that I really liked. I’m quite petite and lean so loose fits dont go well. Never wore suits because don’t need them in my region and culture. But I found the jacquemus one quite funky and feminine for me to try. But if that’s you who modeled then I loved that look “overall” very nicely nailed it! Love your frame.
