Good afternoon everyone, hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today’s post is on big collars and big bags, yes that’s right the big bag will be huge (no pun intended) for SS21. The likes of Acne, Botegga Veneta, Givenchy and Jil Sander to name a few had them coming down the runway. Don’t worry the high street stores are not far behind with this trend the likes of Mango and Zara have some extra-large totes to get your hands on.

BIG BAGS
So meet Agnes yes that’s the name of this large forest green colour bag from Taylor Yates. The bag has been expertly handcrafted in England from super soft, durable and light-weight British leather normally reserved for gloves. Agnes has been inspired by slouch bags of the 70s. Now when it came to styling the bag I opted for a Spring Summer look. To let Agnes shine I chose to wear white. First up my high waisted paper bag shorts, next my linen shirt which is perfect for the warmer weather. As for my accessories I decided to wear these strappy white sandals and finishing off my outfit with my trusted white cat-eye Illesteva sunglasses.
LARGE COLLARS
Moving on and onto large collars, I am totally obsessed with them. Anyone else relate or is it just me?! So with this in mind I thought I would share a few of my current favourite large collar pieces. A shirt is great for layering so my linen shirt I would style under a dress. If however you prefer a large collar dress well that also can be layered by wearing a round neck sweater on top of the dress.

That bag is amazing. I used to have a big bag like that in white. I miss that bag.
I can’t do big bags like this anymore, as they mess with my shoulder and back – I carry too much in them! Instead, I bought a wonderful soft leather backpack that can convert to a tote – I love having my hands free too.
I’m skipping the big collar trend – it reminds me too much of the prairie dresses of the mid-90s.
