HOW TO STYLE BLUE JEANS WITH A BLUE SHIRT AND LOOK POLISHED

Good morning everyone and happy Friday, hope you are all looking forward to the weekend. Today’s post is on wearing a blue shirt with blue denim jeans. It is my take on a casual yet put together look which entails the classic blue shirt and blue denim jeans. I have put together three looks on how to do just that. So why not take a scroll down and do let me know which one or ones you prefer.

RIPPED BOYFRIEND JEANS

Let’s begin with the ripped boyfriend jeans. The pair that I am wearing is from Agolde, Initially I really wasn’t too sure about them. I was ready to send them back after my initial try-on. So I tried them on again and then styled them in a few different ways to see if I could see myself getting the wear out of them. After wearing them a couple of times I was starting to get used to them. So I opted to style them with this classic oversized blue striped shirt from Zara. I tucked the shirt in at the front to give me some shape, I then added a belt to cinch in the waist as the jeans are on the baggy side for me. To make it work for me and elevate the look I went for these white court shoes. These make the outfit look much more polished and put together in my opinion. However, if you didn’t want to wear heels you could alternatively opt for some white trainers/sneakers that have a thick heel. Finally finishing off the look with my cat-eye sunglasses and this gorgeous Ice blue bag from Taylor Yates!

WIDE CUFF JEANS

Next and onto wide cuff jeans, here I have opted for a more fitted shirt to go with the jeans this gives it that polished look. As for the accessories I went for black, the black bag is a great trendy piece and works really well with the rest of the accessories. Shoe wise I chose theses loafers as they are going to be a huge trend this season. To complete the look I chose these wide framed sunglasses and this skinny belt.

FLARED JEANS

Finally and onto flared jeans, here I have gone for another oversized shirt, this one is absolutely gorgeous. I adore the black stitching detail, again I would tuck the shirt in at the front to give the outfit some shape. When it came to the accessories I chose tan coloured ones. Personally I find blue and tan works really well and screams spring summer to me! A pair of Wedges is a must for me when it comes to flares!
