Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday. Today’s post is on three ways to style straight-leg jeans. I must admit in recent years I have become to wear straight jeans more often. They are great for everyday wear and for wearing all year round too. The best straight-leg jeans are a must in anyones closet. Here I have curated three ways I would go about styling my straight-leg jeans. Hope you can get some inspiration from them or at least take something away to include in your outfits.
Like I mentioned earlier that in recent years I have come to wear straight-leg jeans more often, maybe it’s to do with the fact that no matter the season, straight leg jeans are very popular and have continued to reign supreme. I do enjoy wearing them and it’s all in the styling. Which does make a huge difference!
So with that in mind I decided I would share three ways I like to style my straight-leg jeans. I prefer high waisted anything so my advice would be to go for a pair of straight-leg jeans in either a mid or high waist for a more flattering look. Elevate the jeans with, trainers, boots or sandals, the choice is yours.
BLUE JEANS WITH FLATS AND A CARDIGAN
So this is one way to style a pair of blue denim straight-leg jeans. Style the jeans with a light weight sweater I prefer a turtle neck, hence the reason for choosing this one. Then add some flats of your choice here I have gone for some slides. Choose whatever you feel comfortable in and works for you. Finally throw on a mid length cardigan and grab your favourite bag to complete the look.
BLACK JEANS WITH A WHITE TEE AND ANKLE BOOTS
Moving on and onto black straight-leg jeans. Pair the jeans with a white tee of your choice, here I have opted for a basic white t-shirt. I could have gone for a sleeveless shoulder padded tee which would work equally well here. Next add some ankle boots be it with a kitten heel or flat like the ones I have chosen here. Last but not least add a cross body bag to finish the outfit.
WHITE JEANS WITH A ROLL NECK BODY AND BLAZER
Next and onto white jeans, here I have opted to go monochromatic and have paired the jeans with a white long sleeve roll neck body. This gives the look a more polished look, even though I have opted for trainers here. Then you could either throw on a black or white blazer of your choice. I would personally opt for a white blazer as I find an all white outfit very appealing to me. Finally finishing off the outfit with a white bag of some sort.
