Good morning everyone and happy New Years Eve. What better way to bring in the New Year, getting dressed up in this gorgeous dress from Nadine Merabi. So what plans do you have for New Years Eve? For us since the boys were born we like to stay in and this year will be no different.
Our New years day tradition is to go out and watch a movie at the cinema. Now due to the fact that we could not travel to London the boys wanted to watch Wonder Women 1984 and did not want to wait till New Years Day! So we did just that and watched it last week. Over here in Dubai we are very lucky to be able to visit the cinema, they have all the COVID safety measurements in place. So instead we will be watching Kobra Kai S3 at home. Do you have a New Years tradition?
Meet Freya a beautiful little black dress, it’s a perfectly fitted mini dress with a glamorous and sexy edge. The dress features a feather wrap skirt in velvet and a lace detailed top. What more could a girl ask for right! This dress will see you through season after season. I absolutely adore the shoulder pad detailing, the dress has been cut from unlined lace on the top bodice. I am wearing a a bralette underneath but you could easily wear a cami underneath for more coverage.
The details on the neck and shoulder panel are also in velvet and match the feather wrap skirt. As for the sleeves there is scallop lace detailing to the cuffs. The perfect little black dress for New Years Eve!
When it came to styling the Freya dress I opted for these leopard print court shoes from Steve Madden. I wanted to go for a pair of shoes that wasn’t black and these work rather well here with the dress.
As for my clutch I opted for this cute little gold vintage bag that goes with the gold on my shoes. I have had it for so many years now and it still gets so much use. For the finishing touches I opted for gold drop earrings and to complete my look I went for a bold red lip in the shade Feels So Grand from M.A.C.
