FESTIVE ATTIRE

Good morning everyone, hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I have finished all my Christmas shopping and have also managed to get them all wrapped up too! How about you? Today’s post is on festive attire I have a few outfits picked out for Christmas day as well as New Years eve. So I thought I would curate a few of my favourite from the high street to high end. Take a scroll down and let me know which ones you are loving.

LACE

Let’s begin with lace which I tend to find very chic and elegant worn and styled the right way of course. Lace tops, skirts and dresses can be the perfect choice for the festive season. Take the top and skirt that I am wearing, this is from a brand called Syra J Fashion. The details on this two piece is just absolutely gorgeous. I opted to style it here with some black mules from Staud, a black belt to cinch in my waist.

SEQUINS

Next and onto sequins, a huge favourite by most people during the festive season. I can totally see why, I mean who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle or a whole lot of sparkle for that matter! Whether you decide to go the whole hog and opt for a full on sequinned ensemble or maybe go for a sequinned top it will sure make a statement worthy outfit.

BOLD

Moving on and onto bold coloured outfits, I guess the most worn colour during the festivities would be red. But that doesn’t mean you can’t wear other bold colours too! I do personally love to wear red but this year I am thinking I may go for fuchsia instead.

VELVET

Another favourite for the festive period would be velvet. Great for the winter months as it will give that added warmth. Also a luxurious material that is timeless, why not go for a velvet suit that is sure to set you apart. If not a suit then by all means go for a dress.

WHITE

White might not be the first choice when it comes to festive attire for most. But I love wearing white and to own a fabulous white dress that would be ideal for Christmas day or New Years is what I love. I have a Solace London plisse white dress which ticks all the right boxes.

BLACK

Last but not least is black, this could be a combination of any of the above. So a black velvet dress or suit perhaps, a black sequinned dress maybe. How about a black dress with some white bows, the options are endless. Make sure to make the outfit pop with a bold lip and gold accessories!

Yes, yes, yes, I’ll be wearing all of it! I love festive dressing, and I have so many sparkly, velvety, shiny and colourful things I’m wearing this holiday season. It is good for my mental health – I feel so much better when I’m dressed up.

Love this lacy combo on you, Lovely! The belt is a great choice.

Anything with sequins captures my eye. Also, that red lace dress is awesome. Your outfit is so unique, definitely the talk of the party.
