How To Style A More Feminine Outfit This Autumn

Good afternoon everyone, I wanted to share some key details that can help make an outfit look more feminine. I am not a girly girl by all means but I do love to wear feminine items now and then. Hard to believe as I was a tomboy growing up, I think it was when I was around eighteen years of age that my style changed. Right I digress back to feminine pieces that you can add to your closet for Autumn. Take a scroll down to see a few of my suggestions and check out some feminine pieces I am loving.

KNIT DRESSES

So one way to add some feminine touch to an outfit is to start off with a fitted knit dress. The dress I am wearing is from Knitss Official and comes in a fit and flare style. The fluted long sleeves adds to the femininity, an ideal dress for Autumn. Keeping me warm as well as giving me all the feminine vibes I am looking for!

RUFFLES

Next and onto ruffles which straight a way screams feminine to me, so you must include some form of ruffles in your closet. You can have it in the form of tops if you don’t want to be ultra girly. Style the ruffle top with a pair of jeans tucked into some knee high boots. Then add a blazer to complete the look. Or maybe go for a ruffled dress if you don’t mind going the whole nine yards. Add a pair of ankle boots and a biker jacket to add some toughness to this feminine attire.

FLORAL DRESS

Moving on to floral dresses and yes we can’t get enough of them during the Spring and Summer months. But they are equally popular during the Autumn Winter months too! The key here is to keep to darker tones, so more autumnal colours like black, burgundy, navy, you get the idea.

Florals in Autumn can be edgy but at the same time still look feminine depending on how you style them. I would layer my floral dress with a roll neck jumper, then add some knee high boots and drape over my shoulders a coat to complete my outfit.

LAYERED NECKLACES

Jewellery is another way to add a feminine touch to your outfits. Layered dainty necklaces would look so pretty whether it is worn over a roll neck jumper, or over this knit dress that I am wearing. It is one of the easiest ways to add instant femininity to an outfit. I would go for something in gold and pair it with a black outfit as it tends to make the gold standout more. Specially if the top or dress happens to be in a high neck style.

I don’t do anything to make my looks and outfits look feminine tbh, I’ve always just wore what I liked, I’ve never been a girly girl but I never been a tomboy either, I’ve always described my look as hobo boho, or artistic. My favorite thing up there is the knitted dresses, because it’s like the ultimate oversized sweater. Love the photos and you look beautiful as always Lovely.

I am a huge fan of florals – usually of the tropical variety – and that’s usually the extent of being feminine for me. 😀 Good suggestions!
