Good morning everyone, today’s post is on white dresses. Like most of you when Spring/Summer comes around I am so ready to start wearing my white dresses. I mean I can wear white all year round but there is something summery about wearing a white dress. Don’t you think? It is crisp, cool and perfectly suited to the warm summer months.
It’s definitely a staple piece of garment that can be found in my closet. White dresses are so effortless and elegant and one that can take you from a casual daytime gathering to an evening of dinner and drinks. So with this in mind I wanted to show you some high street dresses to get your hands as well as a few high end ones that won’t break your bank account.
I seem to gravitate towards Broderie Anglaise dresses so it’s no surprise that I am wearing this one which is from H&M. The dress is a year old now but H&M have brought out a very similar dress for this year. I am also a sucker for white dresses and can’t resist them, I have already purchased about four them ranging from high end to the high street. There are so many variations of the little white dress, including the maxi dresses to get your hands on. Style them with some low heeled mules and a basket bag, whether you are going to the beach, the city, work or on a date you will be all set and ready to go.
So here I have decided to style my Broderie Anglaise dress with the biker boots as I was going for a dress down look. The boots toughen the outfit instantaneously, this pair is from Kurt Geiger I love how versatile they are as I have worn them with so many of my dresses already. Boots are one of the easiest ways to dress down a dress, if you are not keen on boots then go for a pair of sneakers/trainers instead.
As for my accessories I first grabbed my black wide waist belt from Zara. This just cinches in my waist and makes the outfit look more polished in my opinion. I then put on my Whistles black Fedora hat, which is ideal for keeping the sun at bay but also giving me that cool girl vibes too! Keeping with the monochrome theme I opted for my black Teddy Blake bag. Such a cute little bag that also holds all my essentials! Finally completing my look I am wearing my mirrored aviator sunglasses from Le Specs in the style Ltd Prince.
Which of the white dresses do you like? Or is there another style that appeals to you? Do let me know by leaving a comment below.
