Good morning everyone, so today’s post is all about the co-ord. Now that we are all slowly venturing out Co-ords can solve a summer styling problem, should you have any. Co-ords are great because they take the hassle out of trying to find matching separates that will work together. I find them to be easy as wearing a dress and they tend to make an impact too! Now all that is left to do is trying to find a Co-ord two piece that you like and is to your taste. So with that in mind I have put together four Co-ord styles to start you off with.
SKIRT & TOP CO-ORD
So lets begin with the Skirt and top Co-ord, this is the easiest one as it is closest to a dress. Here I am wearing this knitted co-ord from KNITTS, It was kindly loaned to me as a PR product. Knitted co-ord twin sets are very popular. The combination of the figure hugging design with the comfort of the stretch fabric makes it ideal. When it came to styling my knitted co-ord I opted to pair them with my white STAUD mules. As for the accessories, first up I am wearing my cat-eye sunglasses from ILLESTEVA in white. I then grabbed my straw hat and bag from MANGO. Completing my look I am wearing the shade Lady Danger from M.A.C for some pop of colour.
There are so many variations of the skirt and top co-ord, from a ribbed knee length pencil skirt with a long sleeve top to a midi length white lace skirt with short sleeves. They can be styled up with heels or styled down for a more casual and cool look with some sneakers/trainers.
SHORTS AND TOP
One of my other favourite co-ords to wear are shorts and tops. These are great for a casual look, for going to the beach for example. Why not pair your striped shorts with a striped top to give that nautical flair. Go for prints if you don’t mind wearing them or for those who don’t like the idea of wearing prints stick to one colour. A cropped top which shows a hint of your midriff paired with some shorts is ideal for the summer months.
TROUSERS & TOPS
Next and onto the trouser and shirt combo which will be a front runner for most. Again there is plenty of options to suit everyone. If your looking for the casual look then the pyjama co-ord is great, on the other hand for a put together polished look why not opt for some high waisted tailored trousers with a simple crop top which shows a little skin. To amp it up with some elegance pair a navy tailored culottes together with a front tie crop top, completed with some high heeled sandals.
BERMUDA SHORTS & BLAZER
Finally Bermuda shorts make for a formal outfit which is worthy enough to wear to the office. Style a pinstriped two-piece, tailored Bermuda shorts with a matching blazer. Or why not go for an all white outfit by pairing a white blazer with white Bermuda shorts and then adding a white body and some mules to complete the look. Perfect for going out in during summer!
