Good afternoon everyone, today’s post is all about styling the graphic tee five ways. Now this easy everyday item can be dressed up easily all it takes is to get a little inventive and make it fashionable. So start going through your closet and get out those old band tee’s. If you don’t own any band tee’s thats fine any graphic tee will do. Here are five ways to style a simple graphic tee and make it elevate!
First up is the short suit which is ideal for the warmer months. Here I am wearing my Zara blazer and Zara shorts, they are both in the ecru colour so they look like part of a set, when in fact they are separates. So when it came to styling the shorts suit, I tucked in my Thirty Seconds To Mars band tee and added my Superga white sneakers/trainers. The ecru short suit definitely elevates the outfit, chic and polished yet comfortable at the same time. Perfect outfit for a brunch or lunch.
Next and one of my favourite ways to style a graphic tee is by teaming it with a pair of wide leg high waisted trousers. Again tuck the graphic tee into the trousers, which make it look a lot more put together. Style the outfit with some mules or barely there sandals. Finishing the look off with a pop of colour in a mini bag like the Jacquemus ones!
Moving on and onto skirts which also works rather well. Whether you opt for a floaty statement skirt, a high waisted pencil or a pleated number, the addition of the graphic tee will toughen up the look. Either tuck in the tee or you could tie it in a little not at the front. The graphic tee will prevent the outfit looking over the top and making it worthy of everyday wear. By adding a blazer I find that it always seems to elevate my outfit and make it look very put together.
Another way to style the Graphic tee is to team it with some Bermuda shorts. Again either tuck it in or tie it in a knot at the front. Pair the outfit with some sandals like the Bottega Veneta pairs and then add a quilted clutch of your choice. I would for the evening add an oversized blazer to this outfit as well.
Finally a graphic tee will make a polished trouser suit look and feel less corporate. Here I would go for some high waisted trousers and a little over sized blazer in the suit. Style the suit with some lace-up sandals and tie them around the ankles on top of the trousers to give you that cuffed look.
How would you style the graphic tee? Which of the styles mentioned above is your favourite? Do let me know by leaving a comment below.
