Good morning everyone, today’s ensemble is based around this print jacket. There are so many variations of prints out there and it can be somewhat daunting at first. So if you are one of those people that doesn’t wear prints then I have a few tips on how to incorporate it into your wardrobe. Start of with one item such as a top and keep everything else plain, once you become more comfortable you can start mixing and matching. Also go for some accessories in your favourite print, whether it’s a scarf, bag or shoes go for what makes you feel comfortable.
So lets begin with my print jacket which is another gifted item from House_Of_Mucha. I absolutely love the print and the colours, once I received the jacket I was thinking how I would style this jacket to my taste. After giving it some thought and styling it in different ways I knew this was my favourite. This jacket is bespoke, so if any of you are interested you can get in contact with House_Of_Mucha and they will be more than happy to make a jacket or any other pieces you might be interested in this print or any other print.
Now I decided I wanted to style this print jacket with my black Karen Millen knitted pencil skirt. I tend to find a pencil skirt to be a timeless style, trends and fads will come and go but the classics will always have our hearts. The pencil skirt is truly flattering on most body types, they are also great for the office, heading to parties, or for more formal gatherings as well as a casual edgy look too. Not to mention how swiftly it polishes up a look, regardless of what you decide to pair with it.
Its hard to go wrong with a slim fitting pencil skirt, whether it be during the colder months or for the warmer months. We should all own at least one in our wardrobe in black to give us that polished, structured and sophisticated style. My knit pencil skirt comes in this stretchy material so giving me that excess room, also making it easier to walk in too. It has a zip fastening in the back and I absolutely adore how easy it is to slip it on.
PEEP TOE BOOTIES
Moving on and I wanted to give the outfit some shape and nothing does that better than a wide belt. This one is from Zara and you would have already seen me wearing it in my previous posts. The belt cinch’s in my waist and just pulls the whole outfit together! The gold buckle works well with the gold zip of the jacket as well as my bag.
Speaking of bags I am carrying my Baguette bag from Agnes Nordenholz. Here I opted for the rope handle instead of the leather strap. Such a unique little bag which stands out and one I always get compliments on. This was gifted to me and I absolutely adore it and have been wearing it on repeat. I mean just look at the rope handle detailing, what’s not to love! There are so many other unique bags that are available on her website. Take a look HERE, you will not be disappointed!
As for the finishing touches I am wearing my Le Specs mirrored sunglasses in the Prince Ltd style. Finally completing my look on my lips I chose to wear a bold red lip in the shade 116 extreme from the Chanel Rouge Velvet Extreme range.
