Good morning everyone, today’s outfit is all about the puff sleeves. Now I don’t know about you but I am totally obsessed with puff sleeves. Whether it is on a dress, blazer, coats or any sort of top, I must own it. This dress isn’t the first, I have a few puff sleeve dresses and my collection seems to be growing. I have no intentions of stopping anytime soon, so get ready to see a few more outfits with puff sleeves in the near future.
Puff sleeves were huge and one of the defining trends in 2019. They are still going very strong, the likes of Rotate Birger Christensen, Cecile Bahnsen, Ganni, Topshop, Zara to name a few have continued to carry this trend in the form of dresses, tops, coats and jumpers.
So lets begin with my dress, this brown and white Number 26 belted dress from Rotate Birger Christensen. Yes yet another dress from this brand, but like I have mentioned before I absolutely adore their pieces. So easy to wear whether you dress it up or down for a everyday wear. The dress features long Juliet sleeves with gathering details, giving it that volume and drama that I love so much. Also adore the crystal and pearl pin embellishment on the belt. Perfect for cinching in my waist, of course I could easily use a different belt should I choose to do so. The dress comes in a crocodile print and is short length, falls just above my knee.
Next I opted to style the dress with my Public Desire black sock boots. The boots give me that elevation as well as elongating my legs making them appear much longer than they are. These are very similar to the Balenciaga Knife boots. A fab pair of boots that are very affordable and super cool in my opinion. Of course alternatively you could pair the dress with some biker boots of your choice. This would work equally well and make the outfit look more casual and dressed down.
Moving onto my bag and here I have gone for my Agnez Nordenholz Baguette bag. Adore this bag so much as I can interchange the straps, here I have switched the rope handle for the long straps so that I can wear it on my shoulders and crossbody too! Of course by now you have seen me carrying this bag on repeat. Such a cute and unique little bag that I can’t get enough off, can you blame me!
Now as you know my outfit is not complete unless I am wearing a pair of sunglasses. Here I have opted for my Le Specs sunglasses in the style Prince Ltd. These are in the mirrored aviator style with silver handles and I have had them for a number of years now. They instantaneously amp up an outfit giving off that cool girl vibes.
Finally for the finishing touch I am wearing the shade Topped With Brandy from M.A.C. I have found the Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick to be very smooth with a mousse like texture. It is super pigmented and it lasts for a long time without drying out my lips. For me it is the right shade of nude for my skin tone. However it can differ from person to person, I have heard from others that it can look much more of a deep brown colour. So make sure to test it out on your lips before purchasing.
