Good morning everyone, today’s attire is based around styling a sleeveless coat. Now this is one piece of garment that is perfect for those colder Spring days. Personally for me I prefer a knee length sleeveless coat as opposed to the shorter version. Which ever you prefer there is so many different ways to style them. So here is one way I have styled my sleeveless coat.
So lets dive straight in and start off with my black sleeveless coat which is from Zara. This is a few years old and it was on sale on when I bought it, to my surprise they still had my size available. Zara tend to do a sleeveless coat every year so you are bound to find something very similar to my one. What I love about this one is the large grommet detailing that runs down the front of the coat. It also has these slits on the sides and comes with a tie ribbon too!
Now when it came to styling the sleeveless coat, I opted to go with my black H&M tunic dress. There were so many other options I could have gone for, like pairing it with a pair of jeans and a statement sleeve shirt. Also I could have styled it with a pair of wide leg trousers and a pussy bow blouse. Even a midi length dress would work rather well. Finally I could have teamed the sleeveless coat with some faux leather trousers, a shirt and layered on top a blazer to complete the look.
However I was going for an all black look and wanted to style the coat with my tunic dress. The sleeves of the dress works beautifully with the coat. This dress comes in a cotton weave with a collar, buttons down the front and a yoke at the back. Love the dropped shoulders, the wide sleeves and the buttoned cuffs. The dress comes in three different other colours, white, beige and striped (light blue/white).
Moving on and here I decided to pair my black sock boots from Public Desire. I think these are the perfect length for this ensemble. The boots come in a high heel and are surprisingly comfortable to walk in, I must say that I wear heels most of the time so maybe it’s just easier for me. Of course alternatively you could pair the dress with some biker boots for a dress down look.
Next and onto my bag of choice and to my black Bella Teddy Blake bag. This bag needs no introduction as you would have seen me carrying it around on repeat. The perfect little black bag that can either be held in hand or worn cross body!
For the finishing touches I am wearing my nude matte lipstick in the shade Topped With brandy from M.A.C. Finally to complete my look I grabbed my Le Specs sunglasses in the LTD Prince mirrored aviator style. So there you have it one way to style a sleeveless coat.
