Good morning everyone today’s ensemble is all about wearing neutrals. Now beige doesn’t have to be boring, layering a few neutral tones can make an outfit standout! There is an array of neutral hues from ecru, khaki to cappuccino to get your hands on.
Neutrals are effortless, chic and refined, done in the right way, giving you that sophisticated aesthetic. I personally find investing in a neutral piece makes more sense to me. So finding a piece that is versatile and timeless is key, therefore I can wear it year after year.

MERINO WOOL VEST TOP
Lets begin with my investment piece here which is this Tibi merino wool vest top from Net-A-Porter. My outfit is based around this vest top, love how I can wear it over almost anything. On the Fall runway at Tibi it was worn over a blazer. The vest top is knitted from merino wool with a ribbed finish and has a turtleneck that can be scrunched or rolled. Love the belt which cinches in my waist to give me a more defined shape. So here is my take on styling this beautiful vest top.
BEIGE TUNIC
First up I decided to layer this beige tunic from H&M under my merino wool vest top. I would suggest anything that has a statement sleeve would work equally well underneath the vest top. This tunic comes in a cotton weave with a collar, buttons down the front and a yoke at the back. The sleeves of the tunic is what drew me to it in the first place, also adore the dropped shoulders with the long wide sleeves and the buttoned cuffs. The tunic has a flared peplum at the hem with a pleat at the front.
KEITH MULES
Moving onto my shoes and I opted for these white Staud thong pair from Net-A-Porter. Another option I could have easily gone for are my Castaner Wedges in the cream colour which would have equally worked rather well here. I just wanted to go for these as they a little different than your usual thongs. These mules are made from croc-effect leather and have a knotted thong toe post. A fab pair of shoes that come in this fluted kitten heel which is ideal for walking around in.
GUCCI BAG
Next and onto my bag of choice which is this Gucci Dionysus. This ties in beautifully with my neutral tones, the bag come in this beige and brown coated canvas. A beautifully crafted bag which I absolutely adore and one that fits all my daily essentials.
CAMEL HAT
On to my hat and I went for this one which is from Reiss. Such a simple way to add that little something extra to give me that statement I am looking for. The hat has been crafted from a soft felt with a wide brim and has a tonal grosgrain ribbon at the base.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Finally for the finishing touches I am wearing my white oval sunglasses which are vintage. These sunglasses elevate my outfit, well I think so and tie in with my mules. On my lips I am wearing my nude matte lipstick in the shade Topped in Brandy from M.A.C.
