Good morning everyone, todays’s attire is based around this Zara dress. Now with the lead up to the busy festive period I have been rather busy, like most of you I am sure. Also this is our first time celebrating Christmas in Dubai! My boys are very excited although they do miss their cousins and grandparents. So for my Christmas eve attire I opted for this gorgeous Zara maxi dress which gives off Dior vibes in my opinion. So I thought I would share with you how I went about styling it for the festive season.
Before I get started on my ensemble I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Christmas! Hope you all enjoy your time spent with your families and friends.
Right lets begin with this black maxi dress which is from Zara. As I was browsing through the website I came across this dress and Immediately knew that I was going to love it. I wasn’t wrong, what drew me initially was the white detailing running across the dress. The dress comes with long sleeves in this sheer dotted meshed fabric. As mentioned before the dress gave me Dior vibes, I am talking about their Cruise collection which was inspired by female Mexican Rodeo Riders. I am wearing my Karen Millen belt to cinch me in at the waist. I would suggest a wider belt, this is the widest one I had in my closet so I went with it!
Here I have styled the dress with my black blazer, specially if you are going to be outside even if it is for a short period of time. So I grabbed my black tuxedo style blazer which works so well with this maxi dress. This blazer is from Karen Millen and you all know how much I love their outerwear. Although as of recent times they have been bought by Boohoo, I have yet to buy a piece since they were taken over so the jury is still out as to the quality of the garments. I shall let you all know when I do, I am hoping they keep to the Karen Millen standards!
Moving onto my boots and taking the Dior vibes and keeping with the black theme I opted to wear my biker boots. This gorgeous pair is from Kurt Geiger and are the easiest way to dress down an outfit without making it look too casual. This is the Sting style which comes in a rugged black lace-up that stretches to my mid calf. These biker boots are finished with gold-tone buckles, studs and an outsole style that is durable. They are extremely comfortable to walk around in and look super cool in my opinion. Adding the biker boots just gives the overall look some instant cool girl vibes. Also if your are interested in this pair they are currently on sale HERE.
Now onto my bag and here I have decided to team my gorgeous Bella bag from Teddy Blake with this ensemble. An opulent black bag that can transform any ensemble, Such a sleek, chic and elegant bag which works most of my attire and with plenty of room and space. The bag channels both classic and modern lines making it perfect for me. The ideal bag that can take me from day to evening effortlessly. Like I mentioned earlier the craftsmanship is very clear in the precision of every stitch, the quality of the hardware and all the other little details.
My black Bella is in the size small and comes with red interior and gold toned hardware. The bag is big enough to fit all my essentials, a perfect sized bag in my opinion and I just adore it! Also comes in an array of colours to choose from. I can also expand the sides for extra space should I need it. It also comes with an detachable/adjustable shoulder strap so I can wear it either cross body or just carry it in hand.
For the Finishing touches I have left my hair down with a middle parting, on my lips I am wearing the shade Topped with Brandy from M.A.C. Completing my look I am wearing my Le Specs sunglasses in the style Rapture. So there you have it, my take on styling an outfit very similar to the Dior cruise collection.
