Good morning everyone, today’s attire is on this Rotate dress and Gucci bag. This is my second dress from ROTATE Birger Christensen! Check out my previous post HERE if you missed it on the first dress. I have a brand crush for sure, adore all the pieces in their collection. Now this is my ensemble that I wore to Wyatt’s end of year play ‘Mary Poppins’. The perfect attire in my opinion for the evening, it has polka dots, pleats and comes in this gorgeous buttery yellow hue which is great for summer.
For me the brand’s goal is simple, they want to create innovative, high quality pieces by combining intricate prints, patterns and textures, creating a finished result that is appealing to the eye. It sure has worked and I am not the only one swooning over this brand. As the name implies, ROTATE is an inspired 360° lifestyle statement.
So lets get stuck in and begin with this gorgeous buttery yellow hue Rotate dress. The tea dress is made from plisse-chiffon covered with black polka-dots and has a wide buckled belt to cinch my waist. I adore that the belt has more than enough holes to really cinch in my waist! It features a notched collar, long sleeves, button cuffs, a front button fastening and two front pleats. The dress is midi length and falls into a flowy skirt, the fabric is a little sheer so the right underwear is a must.
Next and onto my shoes, and here I have opted to style the Rotate dress with my Castaner ‘Chiara’ espadrilles in Ivory. These are extremely comfortable and give me that elevation I want. Espadrilles are my most worn pair of shoes around this time of year. They go with most ensembles and are very easy to style. Also I love a pair of lace-up shoes so you can see why I love wearing them on repeat! This ivory ‘Chiara’ pair is made from durable canvas and set on a woven jute platform wedge. The ideal pair of shoes tied in a pretty bow and worn with breezy summer dresses, or if your like me worn with most outfits.
As for my bag I chose to wear my Gucci Dionysus bag. This miniature version opens to a suede-lined interior that’s ideally sized for my phone, wallet and lipstick. Carry the bag cross-body or double the polished chain to hold it in hand or over the shoulder like I have here.
Moving onto my sunglasses and I decided to amp up my overall look with this pair of white oval sunglasses from River Island. I find that they instantaneously make my outfit standout and make a statement.
Last but not least the finishing touches, starting off with this nude lipstick that needs no introduction, it’s my Lime Crime matt lipstick in the shade Teddy Bear. I mean when you find that right shade that works why change it right! Well until I come across another one as good or better. Finally on my finger I am wearing my Cylinder ring from AUrate New York. So there you have my evening look for the school theatre to watch ‘Mary Poppins’. Which was amazing by the way all the children were just awesome!
