Good morning everyone, todays attire is based around this Agnes Nordenholz baguette bag. Before I get started on my ensemble let me just let you know what has been happening in Mum Life this week. First of it was my Zeke’s 9th birthday yesterday. How time flies, I can’t believe by next year I will have three children over the age of 10! Easter break has come to an end and it will back to school tomorrow, not looking forward to the morning rush. However, I will have a little more time to get things done that I have been putting off.
AGNES NORDENHOLZ BAGUETTE BAG
Right lets get back to my ensemble and to this gorgeous bag. You would have seen me wearing it in my last two posts. I can safely say that it is my current go-to bag. The bag comes with a turn lock closure and gold plated brass hardware. The strap is detachable and comes in two interchangeable style, one shoulder strap in vegetable leather and the other is the baguette rope style.
Here is a little back story to Agnes Nordenholz, it is a slow luxury label founded in 2015 in Berlin. The creative mind behind this brand is Agnes Schorer and the intention behind the brand is to produce soulful products, that will last for a long time. They combine high craftsmanship with intriguing designs. A forward thinking brand that has unique handbags, which I am absolutely loving. You don’t have to take my word for it, just take a look HERE at the collection.
Next and onto my beautiful black broderie anglaise dress which is from H&M. Unfortunately it has sold out but there are a few similar one still available. Broderie angailse is very popular during Spring/Summer specially in white. I opted for black this time around and what drew me to this dress initially was the long cuffed sleeves. Also love a high neck as I find it very flattering for me. The dress comes with a slip style lining underneath and in an oversized style.
Moving onto my shoes and to my black espadrilles from Castaner. So as you can see I have gone for an all black look with the exception of my hat. You will see me wearing a lot of espadrilles in my upcoming posts as it is one of my favourite shoes to wear during this time of year! This is another pair that I have bought from Net-A-porter and they have a huge selection of espadrilles, just take a look HERE!
As for my hat I took the cue from the strap of my baguette bag when it came to colour. This ties in wonderfully as they are similar in tone, just breaks up the all black a little. This beautiful straw hat is from Mango. Now can I just say how much I am loving wearing this hat. With the weather being glorious this past week I have been wearing it on repeat. This straw hat comes with a contrast black ribbon which can be worn tied or undone like I have here.
For the finishing touches first off my Le Specs x Adam Selman sunglasses in the style Scandal. Again my attire is not complete until I am wearing my sunglasses. It has been reworked from the iconic cat eye silhouette with a visor lens and claw-like construction. “All high-intensity, full throttle movies have a getaway car. This is the getaway car” Adam Selman. Last but not least, on my lips I am wearing the shade Teddy Bear from Lime Crime Velvetines to complete my look.
