Good morning all, It’s time to button up…. Now we all own a few white shirts, I for one love them and try to get at least four at the start of Spring. A good crisp white shirt whether it’s your classic, has statement sleeves, ruffles or is oversized just makes the overall outfit look really sharp without trying very hard. So with that in mind here are three white shirts from the high street that I have picked up and styled.
1. White shirt from Mango
Starting off with this puffed long sleeve shirt from Mango. This has to come under the statement sleeve category. Just adore a shirt with statement sleeves and this one is no different. The puffed up sleeves just elevates this shirt and makes it stand out for sure! With buttoned cuffs and invisible button fastening running through the front.
Here I have styled with these Gingham shorts from Guess. This is from their Jennifer Lopez collaboration collection. The shorts come in this light stretch cotton material and feels really soft to touch. It’s a regular fit with side zip fastening. I tucked my Mango puffed sleeve white shirt into my shorts and added a waist belt to accentuate my waist. This one is from Karen Millen and I have had it in my wardrobe for a number of years now.
Next I opted for my Zara lace -up espadrilles, just adore wearing them around this time of year. As for my bag I couldn’t resist my bamboo bag from Mango. Such a pretty bag and this trend is really big right now, if you don’t want to fork out on a high end one, then this is one of the best to start off with to see if you actually like the trend!
Moving on to my sunglasses, and to these clear yellow tinted lens in the style Absolutely from Hashtag Sunglasses. For the finishing touches I wore Lime Crime Velvet Red on my lips, and on my nails I wore Alpine Snow. Before heading out for a spot of brunch I grabbed my Karen Millen Tuxedo blazer and threw it over my shoulders. Instantly sharpens up my overall look and ideal for chillier weather.

2. White shirt from Karen Millen
Next onto this balloon sleeve shirt, which is three quarter length and from Karen Millen. When it comes to white shirts Karen Millen are always on the top of my list. Their shirts are just so well tailored and just the perfect fit for me. This one is no different and has the beautiful balloon sleeves with pleat details on the shoulders.
Here I have opted to pair it with my Guess maxi skirt. I can see how easily both combo can be mistaken for a dress. As many of you have mentioned on Instagram! Onto my shoes and I decided I would wear my Castaner Carina Espadrilles in the colour stone. These are from Net-A-Porter and for once I managed to get on there early and purchase them. They tend to run out of my size generally as these are very popular.
Moving onto the accessories I grabbed my Karen Millen black quilted clutch. For some added statement I put on my Blank Sunglasses in the Stormfighter style. How futuristic do they look?! As for my nail colour I wore OPI nail polish in the shade ‘I believe in manicure’. Finishing off the look I wore Lime Crime Teddy Bear on my lips.

3. White Shirt from Zara
Onto my final white shirt edit and to this oversized classic white shirt from Zara. You can’t go wrong with a crisp white classic shirt in my opinion. Loving this shirt which has a semi-boyfriend, slightly oversized fit. The three stripes on the sleeves is what caught my eye and made me purchase it. Just makes the shirt standout specially with the black button detailing. You can read more about it here.
Paired here with my boyfriend jeans from Guess, giving me that relax look I was going for. Onto the accessories and here I teamed the ensemble with my Karen Millen shoes which I wore with some socks. My bag is my white Missguided bag with the wide straps. Next onto my baker boy hat from Topshop to balance the black and to add to the overall look.
As for my sunglasses they are from Hashtag Sunglasses and are in the style Absolutely. I chose the yellow and silver colour, just adore the clear yellow tinted lens. Finishing off the look I wore OPI on my nails in the colour Alpine and Lime Crime lipstick in the shade Teddy Bear.
