Flared Frame Jeans and Pleated Frill Jumper

I absolutely adore flared jeans and since coming across these flared Frame jeans on Net-A-Porter I just cannot get enough of them. I have seen the growth in this brand over the last few years and I am genuinely happy for them. There are a lot more variety of jeans available now and also more clothing too. Currently loving the Frame flared crop pants and the coordinating blazer in the leopard print which come in a gorgeous velveteen material. It’s so bold and out there just adore them. They come in a few alternative colours too.

Flared Frame Jeans

These flared Frame jeans I am wearing are in the Forever Karlie make which come in extra long. I have been waiting for years to get a pair like this where I don’t have to let the seams out at the bottom to make them longer. Just perfect for me as I tend to wear mine with wedges most of the time and adore how you can only see a slight hint of my shoes. They also make my legs appear to be very very long when in fact they are no as near as long as that. The illusion of wearing high waisted jeans with extra long length and heels does wonders for making me appear I have legs that go on forever.

They are very well tailored and I absolutely love how they fit so snugly. Also the fact that they are not rigid in anyway makes them that much more comfortable to wear. I have a dark blue pair too and will be purchasing a black fair fairly soon. I cannot wait to show you how I style those, although I do have a pair of black flared jeans from Guess which are equally nice. They have been worn so often that it is time I bought another pair.

My jumper is from Karen Millen, yes another piece of garment I have purchased from their autumn/winter collection. As many of you know I am a huge Karen Millen admirer and shop there quite often. This pleated frill jumper is just stunning in my opinion. The cascading frill details on the shoulder makes the jumper stand out from the rest. It features a boat neck with cropped three quarter length sleeves. Making any casual ensemble look more demure and feminine. Together here with the flared Frame jeans it works so well!

As it was a mild day I decided to wear this beautiful silver jacket from Missguided. To be honest this looks so similar to the Gucci silver jacket, the only difference is the zip detailing and the lining. From a far you really could not tell the difference. I didn’t want to splurge on a jacket at this stage, so I opted for this one from Missguided at a fraction of the cost. I want to see how much wear I will get out of it. Also silver might not be on trend next season, not that I am one to follow the trends so closely. I want to get the most out of it and depending on how often I wear this I may in the future dare I say it purchase it. But don’t hold me to it, watch this space.

A great silver high shine cracked PU varsity jacket. You can be sure that this jacket will ensure all eyes are on you. It feature contrasting ribbed cuffs in the colours red and navy blue. Come with a front zip fastening and two pockets which also have zips on them.

When it comes to wearing flares I tend to always go for high heeled wedges to style them with. These are from Red or Dead and I have had them for a number of years. They have been worn so much that I think its about time I buy another pair of tanned wedges. The reason for not purchasing a pair is that I have not found one similar to these. I find these tanned wedges very comfortable to wear and really don’t have to think about weather or not they will work with my flares. They go with all of my flares, and to tie in with the tan colour I went for a tan belt as well to bring the look together. This belt is from H&M and its your everyday basic belt.

Now for my bag I went for my mini black trapezium shaped one. This works really well with the ensemble as I wanted the jumper to be focal point to begin with. This mini bag is not large enough to carry a iPhone seven or eight but does have enough room fro your keys, cards, lipstick, lipgloss and a compact. Such a cute little bag that holds its own, due to it unusual shape. I have had this bag for a number of years now and you may have heard me mention this several times in my previous posts.

For the finishing touch I went for my retro cool sunglasses. These feature a white round oval shaped framed with coloured gradient lenses and arms that taper at the ends. They are made with a plastic based frame and have reinforced metal hinges. I purchased them from River Island after browsing on the internet. A very bold pair of sunglasses that are sure to grab anyones’s attention. They just make an outfit pop as soon as you put them on in my opinion. Giving the ensemble that edge it needs and at a very affordable price.
